I booked this place thinking getting around by public transit would be straightforward, but it ended up being more annoying than I hoped :/ The bus and light rail weren’t super far away, but once I had my bags with me, the walk felt like a hassle.

Coming back at night from the station didn’t feel that great either, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel itself was okay, but the transit situation was definitely a letdown for me.

Not gonna lie, I had a really hard time getting comfortable. The bed was rough on my back, and I barely slept through the night

Stayed here for a quick trip to Seattle the area felt totally fine. I walked back after dinner and, somehow, survived the usual city noises without spiraling into panic. Never felt worried, which was nice. Overall, a solid stay.

I mean, it was just way too loud, honestly. Like, I kept trying to fall asleep, but there was so much noise that I barely got any rest. It was frustrating, to be honest...

The staff was fine enough, but I had to keep waiting around and being “patient” like that somehow made up for the hassle. For the price, it felt a little misleading and kind of frustrating.

Save your time and be ready for a headache. Check-in took way longer than it should have, and it felt like nobody really knew what was going on. I had to give the same info twice, which got annoying fast. Check-out wasn’t any better either — they charged me incorrectly, and I’m still waiting for it to be fixed. Not the kind of start or finish you want for a stay.

I ended up waiting way longer than expected at the front desk, and the staff seemed confused and slow to get things sorted out. When I reached out about it, support made it feel like it was somehow my fault instead of just acknowledging the wait, which made the whole experience even more frustrating

For the price and the downtown location, it was worth it overall!! The room was decent enough... nothing fancy, but totally fine for the stay!!!

I had a good stay here. I’m kind of picky about hotel rooms being clean, and this one passed the test for me. The staff were friendly without being over the top, and I actually slept really well, which is usually the main thing I care about. Nothing fancy, but I’d stay again.

I was checking out americanhotelseattle.com, the privacy stuff just didn’t sit right with me. It wasn’t really clear what info they collect, what they keep, or who they might share it with. I mean, maybe it’s all standard, but I don’t want to have to hunt around for basic answers like that. It made me feel unsure about the site, so I ended up leaving without booking.

I could not get the room comfortable no matter what I tried. At first the AC barely seemed to do anything, then later the room got freezing. I kept adjusting the thermostat, but it made no real difference. When I reached out for help, the responses felt like copy-paste support messages that did not actually fix anything. Made it really hard to sleep and ended up being a frustrating stay.

I’m trying to be calm about it, but the room just didn’t feel properly cleaned when I got there. There was dust around, some stains, and the bathroom felt gross. I didn’t feel very comfortable staying in the room, and I really expected the basic cleaning to be better...

I stayed here and used the kitchen a few times, mostly for coffee and quick snacks. It was definitely convenient to have access to a fridge, plates, and a few pans instead of eating out for everything.

That said, I didn’t feel totally comfortable using everything as-is. Some of the items looked worn, and the counters could’ve used a more thorough wipe down, so I ended up washing anything before I used it just to be on the safe side.

For basic stuff, it gets the job done, but I wouldn’t plan on cooking full meals here. It wasn’t awful, just more average than I hoped, and I personally kept things low-maintenance while I was there.

The room itself was okay and worked fine for the stay but the bathroom was disappointing. The sink had marks on it the floor didn’t look like it had been cleaned that well and there was hair left in the shower. For what I paid I expected a bit better. It wasn’t terrible but I probably wouldn’t book here again.

I booked through americanhotelseattle.com, by the time I got to the hotel I was already feeling mentally drained, so I was relieved that the dates and room type matched what I reserved. That part went fine, and I didn’t have to deal with any mix-ups at the front desk.
The only thing that threw me off was the price being a little different at check-in because of some extra fees I hadn’t really noticed before. It wasn’t a huge deal, but I wish it had been clearer upfront. Overall, it was okay, but not amazing. 3 stars from me.

I stayed here for a few nights and had a good time. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it was easy to meet people without it turning into some nonstop party scene. The common areas had that classic hostel feel, with people cooking, chatting, and figuring out plans for the day.

I tried doing a simple video call and it froze constantly, which was really frustrating. I asked someone about it, but nothing seemed to improve during my stay. Maybe others had a better experience, but for me, this felt like something a hotel should be able to get right.

It just didn’t feel very accessible to me. I tried using it with a keyboard and kept running into little issues that made the whole experience feel more frustrating than it should have been.

The room had a bit of a musty smell when I walked in, and the air felt kind of stale at times. Opening the window helped freshen things up a little, which was nice!!
